  Born December 16th (years back), the 1st girl in 5kids, Bianca Adanna Okorocha who we all know as CLAY has gone on to make her mark in the Nigerian Music Industry as a force to be reckoned with.

Having studied Business Administration, Clay started out her career as a professional dancer. She went into music and started out with her very 1st single titled ‘Ogadisima’.
Then came ‘Dancing in the sun’ which features Vector. Clay went on to release her 3rd and 4th singles ‘Zoputam’ and ‘Lemanya’.

Clay, the 5ft 11inches tall multi talented diva is a one-person contemporary rock/pop alternative Nigerian band originating from the city of Lagos. Citing influences such as Avril Lavigne, The Cranberries, Alanis Morisette, Onyeka Onwenu.

She plays a distinct, but instantly familiar take on a rock pop flavor that has been described as “fresh” and “a seamless integration of so many styles".

Autograph shows off a slightly heavier side of her rock style.

She also has covers of popular Asa’s ‘Jailer’, Micheal Jackson’s ‘Heal the World’ and Wizkid’s ‘I Love My Baby’ which propelled her to the mainstream light.

Clay’s achievements include: a prominent nomination for ‘Ogadisinma’ at the Nigerian Music Video Awards (NMVA). She also won best recording of the year 2012 for ‘Dancing in the Sun’ at the Top Nigerian Music Award (TNMA).

Clay has been dubbed ‘the queen’ of Nigerian rock music, being the most popular Nigerian rock artiste, the name stuck.
