     Belinda U. Effah, standing at 5ft 7inches tall is a native of Cross River State, a coastal state in Southeastern Nigeria is a Nollywood actress and presenter.

She had her primary and secondary education at Hillside International Nursery & Primary School and Nigerian Navy Secondary School, Port Harcourt respectively. She furthered her studies at the prestigious University of Calabar (UNICAL), studying Genetics Bio-Technology.

Her journey in the movie industry started in 2005/2006 when she featured in a Television series 'Shallow waters'. Afterwards, she took a break from the series to feature in the reality show 'The Next Movie Star' where she finished 5th, and was never evicted from the house.

The year 2011 saw her gain even more recognition as she got the lead role in a TV sitcom 'Tales of Eve' where she played 'Simi'.

Her debut in a full length movie came in the movie 'Havillah' where she also played the lead role.
Belinda Effah then went on to feature in the Royal Arts Academy (RAA) blockbuster movie 'Udeme mmi' in the same year. She subsequently did 'Kokomma' and 'Mrs Somebody' for the Academy.

A strong desire for excellence in the movie industry propelled her to enroll into the Nobel Royal Arts Academy where she fine-tuned her skills as an actor.

It should be noted that she was once a television presenter for Sound City, a Nigerian Entertainment cable station. However, she left the station to start her own TV show titled Lunch Break with Belinda.

As at the time of this publication, Belinda Effah has featured in over 30 movies. Amongst which includes:
The room, Havillah, Kokomma, Udeme mmi, Mama Africa, Cascade, Okon goes to school, Refuge, Mrs Somebody, The Hunters, Silent Whisper, Lonely heart, Alan poza, Apaye, Enquire, After the Proposal, Azonto babes, Jump and pass to mention but a few.

She also has to her credit several awards of excellence and recognition.
